Atlas Copco to amass Lewa and Geveke

Atlas Copco has agreed to purchase Lewa GmbH and Geveke BV and their subsidiaries from Japan’s Nikkiso Co Ltd in a €670 million deal.
Founded in 1952, Germany’s Lewa manufactures diaphragm metering pumps, course of pumps and complete metering techniques. The company employs around 1200 folks and had 2021 revenues of €233 million.
“Lewa has an extended custom of supporting clients and growing leading industrial move technology for efficient, exact and safe dealing with of fluids,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area. “Through Uncomplicated constructing our presence and technology providing within constructive displacement pumps.”
Copy , which was based in 1874, distributes compressors and engineers superior and sophisticated process pump installations. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has 173 workers and had revenues of roughly €61 million in 2021.
“Geveke has strong engineering capability, offering full industrial pump solutions from concept to commissioning,” said Atlas Copco’s Walker.
The acquisition is expected to be completed through the second quarter 2022.
The major part of the acquired businesses could have its base within the Power and Flow division inside Atlas Copco’s Power Technique Business Area and a smaller part will be part of the Service division inside Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique Business Area.
