Netzsch releases open hopper pump

The housing of the Netzsch NEMO BO open hopper progressing cavity pump is designed with enlarged rectangular hopper, a pressure feed chamber and built-in feeding screw within the hopper. Continuous low-pulsation conveyance is unaffected by fluctuations within the pressure and viscosity.
NEMO progressing cavity pumps provide steady, pressure-stable, gentle and low-pulsation pumping of all kinds of media. Since the shape of the cavities is all the time fixed, the pumped product just isn’t compressed so the pumps can convey not only fluids but additionally solids.
Another advantage of those valveless progressing cavity pumps is that they convey product continuously and with low pulsation, including extremely viscous and abrasive product, safely and without problems. NEMO pumps are also suitable as submersible pumps in wells and with open finish connections for emptying barrels.
NEMO pumps are available with conveying components in 4 different rotor/stator geometries, so that every pump is exactly tuned to the requirements of the application. Except for the rotor and stator, all other elements are similar. This means that if the flow fee or stress of an already installed NEMO progressing cavity pump is subsequently modified, it can be adapted to the model new operating conditions by merely changing the rotor and stator.
