PG Flow Solutions pumps selected for Norwegian smolt facility

Sterner AS has chosen PG Flow Solutions to deliver 15 pump techniques for the new smolt facility that it is constructing for Sande Settefisk in Sandane, Norway.
Value will enhance annual smolt (salmon and rainbow trout) manufacturing from one million to 5 million on the company’s website in Sandane.
PG Flow Solutions will provide nine of its massive circulation pumps and six pumps for stripping CO2 from water.
The circulation pumps are able to pumping large volumes of water with low pressure. They shall be used to pump recent water into the RAS (recirculating aquaculture system) facility’s three departments. The CO2 stripper pumps will assist ensure stable production and low levels of biological waste at the facility.
The plant will have three departments, every with a most feeding of 1500 kilograms per day. It will encompass a hatchery with RAS technology and two grow-out departments, one with a flow-through system and one with RAS know-how.
